Eu fui para Sauble Beach - I went to Sauble Beach
Sauble Beach, incrível lugar! Em um grupo de estudantes brasileiros da cidade de Stratford que eu participava no Facebook, eu fui convidado por uma amiga(Kerollyne) para passar 3 dias com a irmã da host dela em uma casa no campo em Sauble Beach. A resposta foi, obviamente, "sim".
Nessa viagenzinha eu conheci Sandra, uma pessoa incrível que já viajou a turismo em muitos países como da América do Sul, como Argentina, Chile e agora foi pro Peru.
Passei 3 dias com ela e outras 3 pessoas numa casa de campo e foi incrível o aprendizado que tive em tão pouco tempo.
Lá eu provei pela primeira vez a panqueca canadense e o Maple Syrup, que é um tipo de "liquido" muito tradicional, com o tom e gosto similar ao do mel de abelha, tirado de arvores chamadas "Maple" (Assim como suas folhas). Também troquei muito papo sobre a cultura brasileira, comidas e comparamos Canadá e Brasil em muitos aspectos.
No mesmo dia em que chegamos na casa, fomos para a praia de bicicleta e passamos um bom tempo curtindo a vista, tomando banho e brincando com uma baleia inflável.
No dia seguinte, fomos ao Silver Lake(Lago Prateado, em português) que fica há poucos metros da casa, onde apreciamos a bela paisagem de canoa guiada por mim e a amiga de Sandra.
A praia de Sauble Beach é muito interessante porque não é um mar, é um rio, onde a água é doce e bonitas ondas se formam. Veja o mapa de onde é localizada Sauble Beach:
Para os que perceberam, se você cruzar o rio, chega no Estado de Michigan, nos Estados Unidos.
No dia seguinte, fizemos o mesmo percurso para a praia, mas levamos algo com a gente... Um Caiaque, que nos divertiu bastante durante nossa estada na praia.
Após a praia, a gente foi brincar de Mini-Golf não tão longe da li e foi fascinante.
A noite, assamos Marshmallows no fogo e fizemos Smores(outra comida típica canadense) que são feitos com Marshmallow e biscoitos recheados. Muito gostoso!
Depois disso, tocamos e cantamos ao fogo. Para finalizar o dia, fomos à beira do Silver Lake observar as estrelas num céu perfeitamente limpo e sem poluição luminosa.
Quando a aventura infelizmente acabou, fomos para a casa de Sandra, que nos recebeu tão bem.
Na ida e na volta, passamos por vilas de pessoas que vivem sem eletricidade e sobrevivem da plantação de frutas e vegetais. Eles são chamados de First Nation pessoas que moravam no Canadá muito antes do Canadá ser descoberto por europeus.

Sauble Beach is an amazing place! In a group of brazilian students that were living in Stratford that I used to be, on Facebook, I was invited by a friend(Kerollyne) to spend 3 days with her and her host's sister ina a cottage at Sauble Beach. The answer was obviously, "yeah".
In this trip, I met Sandra, an amazing person that had travelled to many countries in south america like Argentina, Chile and now she went to Peru.
I spent 3 days with her and 3 other people at the cottage and that was an amazing learning opportunity that I had in such a small period of time.
There I tried for the first time the canadian pancake and the Maple Syrup that is very traditional in Canada. I also talked a lot about the Brazilian culture,types of food and we compared Canada to Brazil in many aspects.
In the same day we got in the house, we went to the beach by bike and we spent a good time enjoying the background, getting wet and playing.
The day after that, we went to Silver Lake, that is located next to the house, where we appreciated the beautiful background while we canoed guided by me and Sandra's friend.
An interesting aspect about the beach is that the water is sweet and it's located between USA and Canada.
After that day, we did the same route to the beach, but we brought a thing with us... A kayak, that made us happy. After that, we went to play mini-golf(mini-putt) not too far from there and that was alwesome!
At night, we cooked Marshmallows in the fire and we did Smores. Delicious!
After that, we played and sang really good songs. To end the day, we went to the Silver Lake and observed the stars in a neat and clear sky without light pollution.
When the adventure was, saddly over, we went to Sandra's house, who recieved us very well.
While we was going and coming back, we passed through villages were people live without electricity and they survive with plantation of fruits and vegetables. They are called "First nations", people who were in Canada before Canada be discovered by europeans.
